Dolphins head coaching search poll: Would you hire Mike Shanahan?

New, comments

There will be a lot of names floating around the Miami Dolphins and their vacant head coaching position over the next few days. Two-time Super Bowl champion coach Mike Shanahan is scheduled to meet with the team for a second time. Would you wan to see the Dolphins make that move?

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY

The Miami Dolphins are well into the interview scheduling process in their new head coach search, with multiple names already starting to pop up as potential candidates for the team. One of those is Mike Shanahan, the two-time Super Bowl champion former head coach of the Denver Broncos, as well as the former head coach of the Washington Redskins and the Los Angeles Raiders. Shanahan is a talented coach, who could bring a sense of professionalism back to the Dolphins.

He is also known to want total control, which could make for an awkward situation as the Dolphins look to find a coach to work with Vice President of Football Operations Mike Tannenbaum, and new General Manager, Chris Grier. How Shanahan would fit into that scheme would have to be a detailed conversation during their interview, which is scheduled for Tuesday.

Today, we want to know, would you hire Shanahan if you were the Dolphins? Would he even be in your list of candidates? Let us know in the comments below, and make sure you vote in the poll as well.
