Dan Carpenter, the Bulls kicker, missed on an extra point in the team's game against the New York Jets. The Bills would go on to win the game, something that all Miami Dolphins fans should celebrate given the combination of New York's loss and the Pittsburgh Steelers' win knocked New York out of the Playoffs.
Carpenter, who earned the nickname "DC$" (DC-money) during his five year stint with the Dolphins, joined the Bills in 2014. He has missed six extra points this season, the first year the NFL has pushed the extra point back to the 15-yard line for the snap, making the kick a 31-yard try.
An undrafted free agent out of Montana in 2008, Carpenter has a career field goal percentage of 84.6-percent, and a career extra point conversion rate of 97.3-percent.
The Bills beat the 22-17, making Carpenter's missed extra point meaningless. Unfortunately for Carpenter, it looks like his helmet beat him.
