The second of the conference championship games kicks off this evening with the Arizona Cardinals facing off against the Carolina Panthers. The winner of the game will be headed to their franchise's second Super Bowl, facing the winner of this afternoon's AFC Championship game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
As we did throughout the regular season, we are giving you a chance to predict the final score for this afternoon's game. While during the season, we primarily focused on the Miami Dolphins' games, we will use the same widget, provided by The Crowd's Line, to give you a chance to entire a final score for the NFC Championship game. You can also make your own account with The Crowd's Line to keep track of all your predictions, starting now and continuing into next year, if you so choose. Or, you can just entire your prediction anonymously.
My prediction for this game will have to lean toward the team with the healthy quarterback. Cam Newton has picked up the Panthers this year and carried them this far - and, I think it will go even further. Arizona has had a great year, but the dislocated finger through which Carson Palmer has been trying to play worries me. I will give this game to the Panthers 34-20.
Time for your final score projection.
