This year's Sugar Bowl features the 16th ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys against the 12th ranked Mississippi-Ole Miss Rebels. The Rebels earned their birth in today's game by way of their 9 and 3 record which saw them finish second in the SEC's West Division. The Cowboys made it to New Orleans via their 10 and 2 record that saw them finish ranked 2nd in the Big 12.
