Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Miami Dolphins Mock Draft Database is back for its third full iteration this week, collecting the projected pick for the Dolphins from around the web in one location. Last week, Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves led the way with 24.4 percent of the mocked picks, followed by defensive end Shaq Lawson at 14 percent and cornerback Mackensie Alexander at 10.5 percent. Will Hargreaves hold on to his lead this week?

As always, we would like to thank Adam Stites from SB Nation, who put together the interactive pie charts this year.

Our goal is to update this database each week between now and the actual NFL Draft at the end of April, looking to see if the Dolphins' 13th overall pick starts to become a consensus. (Mock drafts using the 8th overall selection, the pick the Dolphins traded to the Philadelphia Eagles, are noted with an asterisk in the final column of the chart below.)

Miami Dolphins Mock Draft Player Selections Graph

Hargreaves does hold on to the top position, but it is starting to get a little more congested behind him, and his lead is slipping just a little. Hargreaves is down to 23.1 percent this week while Lawson is still second but again falls a little down to 13.2 percent. Alexander is third at 11 percent, but now he shares that position with linebacker Darron Lee, who jumped from sixth position last week with just 5.8 percent to a third place tie at 11 percent this week.

Running back Ezekiel Elliot, fifth last week with 7 percent, stays in the fifth position, but is up to 8.8 percent of the mocks. Cornerback Eli Apple climbs to 6.6 percent of the mock from 3.5 percent last week. Offensive tackle Jack Conklin appeared as Miami's pick in 5.5 percent of the mocks, up from 3.5 percent last week. Defensive end Kevin Dodd claimed 4.4 percent of the mocks, with linebackers Myles Jack and Reggie Ragland each showing up on 3.3 percent of the projections. The "others" group, which typically involves players who only show up in a single mock draft, combine for 9.9 percent of the projections.

(Editor's Note: The interactive pie chart automatically updates throughout the week as more mock drafts are added to the database and/or updated in the database. That could make the percentages change from the listed percentages in the write-up above, which is as of 9am ET on March 24.)
