Miami Dolphins. Baltimore Ravens. New England Patriots. That is the NFL trek that has been running back Jonas Gray's career through three years. The 2012 undrafted free agent by Miami is returning to South Florida:
Former Patriots RB Jonas Gray will sign with Miami's practice squad, according to @seanstellato. Gray once played on Dolphins' PS.

Gray began his career with the Dolphins, signing out of Notre Dame. He was sidelined for most of his rookie season with a knee injury, then returned in 2013 looking to claim a roster spot. Instead, he was among the final roster cuts before joining the Ravens' practice squad. In 2014, he joined the Patriots, where he started on the practice squad, then jumped up to the active roster during the season. In eight games with New England last year, including three starts, Gray carried the ball 89 times for 412 yards with five touchdowns. Included in that span was a 201 yard, 4 touchdowns performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.
The Patriots released Gray in their final round of roster cuts this year.
