The Miami Herald's Barry Jackson is busy this morning, confirming roster cuts seemingly as fast as the Miami Dolphins are notifying the players. Early this morning, he reported the team had released defensive tackle Anthony Johnson, now, he has four more players who have been cut:
LB James Davidson confirms he is 4th Dolphin known to be released, joining Liedtke, Hawkins, Anthony Johnson.

Add WR Damarr Aultman to list of Dolphins cuts today.

None of those releases are overly surprising. James Davidson, a third-year linebacker, Michael Liedtke, a rookie offensive lineman, Donald Hawkins, a third-year offensive lineman, and Damarr Aultman, a rookie wide receiver, were all deep on the depth chart for the Dolphins throughout the Preseason. Aultman has shown flashes and could find his way on to the practice squad this year. Liedtke could have a shot at the practice squad as well.
We will continue to monitor the Dolphins roster cuts, and will be continually updating our Roster Cuts StoryStream as they become known.
