The NFL is now demonstrating to all of us the flaw with football season: it's way too fast. We are already on to Week 2 with the commencement of Thursday Night Football, this week featuring the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. A division rivalry game that, in just the second week of the season, really could have Playoff implications? Yeah, that should make for a good game.
The Chiefs have never beaten the Peyton Manning-led Broncos, but come into this game as a three-point favorite. Will Manning come out lookin gto silence the critics who are all starting to say he's lost it? Will the Chiefs prove they are the team to beat in the AFC West?
And, most importantly, will Kansas City FINALLY figure out that they can throw touchdown passes to wide receivers? It is only a 20 game streak without a wide receiver touchdown.
