Week two of the NFL season kicks off with an AFC West division rivalry when the Denver Broncos travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. The Bronco's hoped to continue to be the dominant team in the AFC West but last weeks Bronco's game against the Ravens saw Peyton Manning struggle against the Baltimore defense. Manning threw no touchdowns and only averaged 4.4 yards per completion. The game also marked the third time in six games that Manning has been held to below 200 yards passing. All of this has many of the Bronco faithful as well as the media questioning if this is the beginning of the end for Manning.
On the other side of the ball the Chiefs are hoping to rebound from a terrible 2014 season offensively, a year that saw them ranked 25th in the league. Last Sunday the Chiefs behind a balanced attack and a solid outing from Alex Smith were able to defeat the Houston Texans on the road. Smith had three touchdowns in just the first half of play while tight end Travis Kelce dominated fantasy leagues with his two touchdowns and 106 yards on the day. Running back Jamaal Charles pitched in on the day with a solid 103 yards on the ground. To help with Kansas Cities balanced attack was the fact that the Chiefs were only penalized twice on the day.
