The Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins are in the first quarter of their 2015 Week 1 contest, and the injuries may already be starting. Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson limped off the field, holding his hamstring, after making an attempt at a deep pass from Kirk Cousins.
After he got off the field, Jackson threw his helmet on the ground and immediately climbed onto the trainer's table. There, he continued to grimace, along with demonstrating his frustration with being out of the game. The Redskins have announced it is officially a hamstring issue, and Jackson's return is questionable.
Washington currently leads Miami 3-0 after a 45-yard field goal on their opening possession. Miami went three-and-out on their first possession. Washington missed a field goal on their second possession, gaining 23 yards on their first three plays of the drive before a wide field goal attempt.
The Dolphins will get the ball back with good field position as the first quarter comes to a close.
