We bring back our annual look at the Miami Dolphins' roster heading into training camp, a series we call 90-in-90. Over the next 90 days (or a few more as roster changes happen), we will take a look at each individual player on the roster, review what they did in 2014 either in the NFL or in college, then take a look at how they might progress or regress this season, and the chances that player will make the roster.
COBI HAMILTON
2014 Review:
2014 was Hamilton's second year with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was a sixth-round draft choice by the team in 2013.
Hamilton spent both his seasons on the Bengals practice squad and never appeared in a regular season game.
Why he might progress:
Maybe Hamilton just needs a change in scenario. Be interesting to see how he works in the Bill Lazor offense and with Ryan Tannehill throwing him the ball.
Why he might regress:
Didn't do that well on special teams with the Bengals and wasn't much of a receiving prospect.
If he can't do anything on special teams, he doesn't have much hope for making a teams roster.
Chances he makes the 53-man roster:
Hamilton doesn't have the best shot at making the roster. Michael Preston is impressing in training camp and may be the teams fifth receiver heading into the season. Hamilton is just a camp body and could end up on a teams practice squad.
So how do you think Cobi Hamilton will do this season? Does he make your roster? Feel free to discuss below.
