This game is typically used as the "dress rehearsal" game for the regular season, with the starters playing into the third quarter, and getting a chance to make halftime adjustments. This year, the Dolphins will host the Atlanta Falcons in this Preseason Week 3 contest, welcoming a team into the renovated Sun Life Stadium for the first time.

Included in the new version of Sun Life Stadium are brand new seats throughout the entire stadium, which also changed color from orange to aqua, as well as seating closer to the sidelines. The move should make the stadium feel more like fans are sitting on top of the field and help add to the homefield advantage. of the stadium.
