The third preseason game is where teams leave their first team offenses/defense in for an extend period of time. The playing time is normally most of the first half of the game.
However, I'm going to say something that some Dolphin writers are also saying: sit Ryan Tannehill.
Why are people saying this? The Dolphins are really hurting at left tackle and I don't want the team risking our quarterbacks health. Branden Albert won't be playing, who is still nursing his knee. Jason Fox, who has been protecting Tannehill, is sidelined with a concussion.
The Dolphins are turning to Dallas Thomas to hold down the left tackle spot for now. Yes, I was not the biggest fan of Thomas entering training camp, but he has improved at guard. But I don't trust him at left tackle. I don't trust the guys behind him on the depth chart either.
Ryan Tannehill will be playing tomorrow. I do not agree with the decision. I don't want to see Tannehill getting blindside hits. If Albert or Fox was playing, I could care less. But with the uncertainty at left tackle now, it has me a bit worried about tomorrow.
So, would you start or sit Ryan Tannehill? Feel free to vote and discuss below.
