The Miami Dolphins lead the Carolina Panthers 14-9 as the second half begins in their Preseason Week 2 contest. Miami starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill was not quite as sharp as he was last week against the Chicago Bears, be he still finished the contest 12-for-15 for 102 yards with a touchdown and a 117.2 passer rating. He directed another touchdown scoring drive, with running back Damien Williams running it in from 1-yard out.
Williams also caught the touchdown pass Tannehill threw.
The Panthers first team offense never seemed to fully get into rhythm. The second team, however, has been able to march on Miami's backups, though they have yet to find the endzone, settling for three field goals instead.
Can Miami hold on for the win, or will Carolina come back for the victory?
