90-in-90 Breaking Down the Miami Dolphins Roster: Jason Fox

New, comments

Breaking down the Miami Dolphins' 90-man roster over 90 days. Today, we look at offensive lineman Jason Fox.

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

We bring back our annual look at the Miami Dolphins' roster heading into training camp, a series we call 90-in-90. Over the next 90 days (or a few more as roster changes happen), we will take a look at each individual player on the roster, review what they did in 2014 either in the NFL or in college, then take a look at how they might progress or regress this season, and the chances that player will make the roster.

2014 Review:

2014 was Fox's first year with the Dolphins.

He appeared in 9 games, starting in 2 of them.

Why he might progress:

Fox has a chance to start a few games, due to Branden Albert's uncertainty of returning for week 1.

Fox, in my opinion, didn't play that bad when given the chance. Give him some more playing time.

Why he might regress:

Really didn't see Fox at left tackle a lot. If the coaching staff decides to put him there, I'm a little weary because I have no clue what to expect.

When Albert is finally healthy, Fox will lose a starting position, unless he can be move to guard. Which I highly doubt.

Chances he makes the 53-man roster:

Fox will be on the roster when the 2015 season begins as one of the backup tackles. However, if Branden Albert is not ready to go, Fox could potentially start at left tackle or right tackle.

So, what do you think will happen to Jason Fox. Does he make your roster or not? Feel free to discuss below.
