Dolphins training camp 2015: Brent Grimes, Kenny Stills meet with media

Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes and wide receiver Kenny Stills each met with the media following the team's training camp practice Friday. Here are the transcripts of their remarks.

Cornerback Brent Grimes

(On the defensive backs) - "Yeah, our whole team is together, but our defense as a whole is a very talented unit. Now what we do on Sundays is what matters. But just as far as talent wise, we're very talented and our DBs can do some great things out there as you can see - Reshad (Jones), Lou (Louis Delmas), me, Jamar (Taylor), Brice McCain. You can go down - Walt (Aikens). It goes down the line, just you can keep going. It's just a good group of guys. We can do some very good things and we can help the D-line (defensive line) out just like the D-line can help us a great deal. We help feed off of each other."

(On what kinds of things he can do differently with a potent front on the defensive line) - "Even last year, we had a great D-line. Of course, we added Ndamukong Suh who is an awesome player and he's going to help us a great deal. What it does is it makes quarterbacks uncomfortable. It makes them worry about getting hit. Quarterbacks don't like getting hit and, with a D-line like that putting pressure on the quarterback without even having to blitz. It's a great advantage for us. It can help us make some plays."

Wide Receiver Kenny Stills

(On how training camp is going) - "I'm feeling good. We're all excited to be out here, obviously. We have a ton of talent and we're just working to come together and then build what we have."

(On the receiving corps coming together and QB Ryan Tannehill trying to get on the same page with him) - "The receiving corps is a group that's really focused right now on getting on the same page with the quarterbacks and making sure that all of the timing is correct. Just preparing for what we have. We know we have a lot of guys that can make plays and we want to go out there and do it."

(On if it's still a little early to go out and show everyone what he can do given that they are in shorts) - "Yeah, once we get in pads, then things get real. So then we'll start to see what everybody really has."

(On who the best athletes are on the football team and why) - "I think there's probably a really solid athlete at each position. First person that would come to mind would be (Brent) Grimes. But it's hard, it's hard to know everybody at each individual position, but yeah there's somebody that does something extremely special at every position."
