Google: Ryan Tannehill is the elite quarterback

Have you ever wondered what would happen if you typed into Google "Ryan Tannehill is an elite quarterback?" What if you did that for every quarterback in the league, then ranked them based on the number of results? Sounds like a little project, just to see what happens.

Luckily for us, a Reddit user by the name of TurnTwo did exactly that this week, and came up with the "elite" quarterbacks in the NFL. Names that should ot really surprise anyone came up near the top, with Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, and Cam Newton all making the top ten (and is-he-or-isn't-he-ELIte, Eli Manning came in, appropriately, eleventh). But none of those quarterbacks took the top spot.

Instead, the Miami Dolphins' Ryan Tannehill took the top spot - and not by a small margin. Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan was second with 431,000 results. Tannehill had 1.24 million. So, at least according to Google results, Ryan Tannehill is the most elite of the elite when it comes to NFL quarterbacks.

Take that Brady!
