Collins had been preparing to fly to South Florida tomorrow to visit with the Miami Dolphins, but will obviously not be making that trip now.
Collins was expected to be a first-round selection in this month's NFL Draft, but dropped off draft boards after news broke that he was wanted for questioning by Baton Rouge, Louisiana police in connection with a murder investigation. The victim, Brittney Mills, was an ex-girlfriend of Collins, and, despite repeated statements from police that Collins was not a suspect and was just wanted for background questioning, he fell completely out of the draft. Mills was pregnant when she was shot after answering the door at her home, with the baby boy being successfully delivered, though he died a few days later. Collins took a paternity test to see if he was the child's father, but it came back negative.
