The first round the NFL Draft is complete, without a lot of the anticipated craziness. Jameis Winston went first to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as expected, then, when everyone seemed to think the Tennessee Titans would trade out of the second position as someone gave them a king's ransom for the ability to pick Marcus Mariota, the team sat still and took the Oregon quarterback for themselves.
The rest of the Draft seemed to be pretty calm after that. The only trades were the San Diego Chargers moving from the 17th pick to the 15th position, swapping spots with the San Francisco 49ers so they could grab running back Melvin Gordon, and the Denver Broncos moving up from the 28th spot to the 23rd pick to select pass rusher Shane Ray.
As for player selection surprises, Leonard Williams may be the biggest. Rated as the top player in the draft not named Winston or Mariota, and in many cases ahead of even them, the defensive lineman stayed on the board until the sixth selection, going to the New York Jets. It was not a fall like Aaron Rodgers' wait in the green room, but it still was a fall from where most people thought Williams would be picked.
The second and third rounds of the Draft will be tonight, with everything you need to know to watch/stream it below. The main thing to note is that the coverage on ESPN switches over to ESPN 2 for the night.
