Poll Results: The Player Dolphins Fans Most Want at No. 14

Yesterday, we asked Phinsider site members to name the player they most wanted at No. 14 overall. And they didn't disappoint. The results are in!

There's no such thing as a unanimously desired prospect among fans when it comes to the NFL. However, when it comes to the No. 14 overall selection in this year's draft, Miami Dolphins are pretty focused in regard to two prospects.

According to yesterday's Phinsider draft poll, Dolphins fans want to see either Georgia running back Todd Gurley or Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker (30 percent) in aqua and orange later tonight. Gurley took home 371 votes (31 percent) while Parker earned 366 (30 percent). The next-closest prospect was Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes, with 78 votes (6 percent).

Rounding out the list were Washington nose tackle Danny Shelton with 65 votes (5 percent), LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins with 43 votes (4 percent) and UCLA inside linebacker Eric Kendricks with 24 votes (2 percent). Oddly enough, cornerback (a position discussed ad nauseam in regard to the Dolphins this spring) wasn't much of a focus for the fans who participated in the poll, as Washington's Marcus Peters only garnered eight votes while Wake Forest's Kevin Johnson landed five. Funny how that works.
