The clock has officially started on the Miami Dolphins, with the team having five days to match the offer sheet signed by Charles Clay yesterday. Miami placed the transition tag on Clay this offseason, which gave him a $7.071 million tender, and gave the team the right to match any offer to which Clay may agree. He officially agreed to a deal yesterday, signing a five-year offer from the Buffalo Bills, reportedly for $38 million. The guaranteed money is expected to be around $24.5 million, with the large majority of that money coming in 2016, which will make it hard for the Dolphins to match.
Will they? What other free agent signings will happen? Will quarterback Matt Moore come back to the team as Ryan Tannehill's backup? Will yesterday's rumor of the Dolphins chasing guard Dan Connolly come to fruition? We track all of the rumors and signings below.
