Ravens at Dolphins first half report, second half live chat

The Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens have punted their way toward halftime before Miami exploded with two quick scores.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

Well, this nap-fest of a Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins first half exploded at the end with an interception by safety Reshad Jones, followed by a bomb from Ryan Tannehill to DeVante Parker for the touchdown a play later. If that was not enough, Derrick Shelby then picked up Matt Schaub and scored on the pick-six to give Miami a 13-0 lead.

The extra point after that pick-six was a story itself, with Andrew Franks hitting the upright for a no good kick, only to have the Baltimore offsides penalty give the team another shot tat the kick. That kick was then blocked and returned for a two-point score for Baltimore, only to then have that negated by another offsides call. Miami then tried the two-point conversion from the one-yard line, with Jay Ajayi converting on the run and a 15-0 lead for Miami.

The Ravens then were able to kick a field goal just before the half.

Ryan Tannehill is 6-for-12 for 67 yards and a score in the first half, while Matt Schaub is 15-for-25  for 158 yards with the two interceptions. Lamar Miller has 10 carries for the Dolphins for 73 yards, while Baltimore's Javorius Allen has 10 carries for 33 yards. Allen also leads the Ravens' receiving with 5 receptions for 36 yards, while Chris Givens has 2 receptions for 56 yards. The Dolphins have DeVante Parker with 2 receptions for 49 yards and the touchdown.
