This year's Orange Bowl at Sunlife Stadium in Miami Gardens Florida features the number 4^th ranked Oklahoma Sooners Vs. the 1^st ranked Clemson Tigers. This afternoon's Orange Bowl will serve as a semifinal game before the winner of this games moves on to the championship game to face the winner of the Cotton Bowl this evening which features the Alabama Crimson Tide Vs. the Michigan State Spartans. The Sooners rose to the 4^th ranking by way of their 11 and 1 record and by coming in first in the Big 12 this season. The Clemson Tigers gained their number one overall ranking in the nation behind their 10 and 0 records that saw them come in first in the ACC.
