During Monday's press conference, Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano announced that the team will be without quarterback Andrew Luck for this weekend's game against the Miami Dolphins. The Colts have said they will play Luck, who has been dealing with a lacerated kidney and torn abdominal muscle, whenever he is healthy and that he is expected to play this season. With Pagano ruling him out for this week's game, Luck will have just one more game in which he can return this year. He has already missed five games, with the Dolphins game being the sixth contest he has missed due to the most recent injuries.
Luck also missed two games early in the year due to a shoulder injury.,
The Colts could also be without backup quarterback Matt Hasselbeck this week. Pagano described Hasselbeck as "beat up from the feet up" during his press conference. If Hasselbeck is unavailable, Charlie Whitehurst would likely start. The Colts do no have another quarterback on their roster or practice squad.
The Dolphins and Colts will kickoff at 1pm ET on Sunday at Miami's Sun Life Stadium.
