SNF: New England Patriots @ Houston Texans Live Thread

The 10 and 2 New England Patriots travel down to Houston this evening to take on the 6 and 6 Houston Texans. The Patriots currently sit on a three-game lead coming into the weekend, in the AFC East, over the New York Jets. While that gives the Pats a comfortable lead with only four more games to play this season they must also continue to win if they want to keep pace for one of the two bye week playoff spots. There were two other 10 and 2 teams, vying for one of those two spots coming into the day, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos. Like the Patriots, the Texans also lead their division, the AFC South but unlike the Patriots they do not have the luxury of a lead over the other teams in their division. The Texans must win to keep pace with the Indianapolis Colts who also sat at 6 and 6 coming into the day.
