The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets will kickoff in a Week 12 AFC East contest at 1pm ET. The NFL allows teams to carry 53-players on their respective rosters throughout the season, but limits the clubs to just 46-players on game day. Each team, 90 minutes before kickoff, must release a listing of the seven players that will not play, declaring them "inactive" for the week.

For Miami, those inactive players include offensive tackle Ja'Wuan James, who will miss his fourth straight game as he recovers from a toe injury. The Dolphins will continue to use Jason Fox at right tackle to replace James, who the team desperately need to return as quickly as possible. Joining James on the inactive list are wide receiver Matt Hazel, offensive tackle Ulrick John, linebacker James-Michael Johnson, linebacker Chris McCain, tight end Jake Stoneburner, and tight end Brandon Williams.

The good news for Miami is that wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews are both active for the game. Landry was slowed all week with a knee injury, while Matthews was added to the injury report on Saturday with an illness. Landry leads the team in receptions, while Matthews leads in receiving yards and touchdowns. Miami will need both players if they are going to find success through the air this weekend.

The Dolphins also left Quinton Coples active, just days after claiming the defensive end off of waivers from the Jets.

The Jets' inactives list is headlines by cornerback Darrelle Revis, who sustained a concussion last week and has not been cleared to play yet. Without Revis, the Jets secondary could be ripe for Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill, especially with Landry and Matthews active. Along with Revis, the Jets listed safety Dion Bailey, offensive tackle Dakota Dozier, offensive tackle Ben Ijalana, quarterback BRyce Petty, and wide receiver Kendbrell Thompkins as inactive for the game.
