The Miami Dolphins have an early lead against the Tennessee Titans thanks to a Statue of Liberty style fake screen pass to Lamar Miller and an end-around run from Jarvis Landry. The score marked the first first-quarter touchdown of the year for Miami, who came into the game having been outscored in the first period 37-3.
The Dolphins, in their first game under interim head coach Dan Campbell, started in rhythm for the first time this year. They were able to drive the field, and they effectively used the run game gaining 43 yards on the drive on the ground. Miller picked up 21 yards on three carries, with Landry picking up 22 on the touchdown run. Ryan Tannehill was 3-for-3 on the possession, throwing for 32 yards.
