The Phinsider straight-up winners picks results from Week 5 were not spectacular, unless your name is James. Four of our seven contributors finished the week just above .500 at 8&6, with another at the .500 mark. Then there were the two James, with jamesradio1979 leading the week 11&3 and James McKinney just behind him at 10&4.
That's what I get for bragging last week.
Overall, the standings still have me out front, though McKinney closed the gap this week. I have a 54&23 record, while McKinney is just three games back now at 51&26. Jamesradio1979 jumped into third overall with his performance from Week 5, sitting at 49&28 on the season now. Kdog92 is fourth at 46&31, then Alex Parish a game behind that mark. Finally, Chris "Duke" Early and Brian "Turtle" Naidus are both 43&34.
Will the non-James contributors bounce back this week, or will we continue to allow them to dominate? We shall find out soon enough. Here are the picks for this week:
