This weekends second AFC Wildcard game features the AFC South champion Indianapolis Colts with a record of 11 and 5 and one of three playoff teams from the AFC North, the second place Cincinnati Bengals at 10 and 5. This will also mark the second meeting for the two teams this season. The Bengals played in Indianapolis in mid October getting shut out by the Colts by a score of 27 to 0. The Colts Andrew Luck threw for 344 yards and two touchdowns while Indy also racked up 171 yards on the ground. At the same time the Colts defense held the Bengals to only 135 yards for the entire game.

Following the loss in Indy the Bengals managed to go the rest of the way winning 7 out of 10 games. The Bengals also elevated rookie running back Jeremy Hill to the starting position over Giovani Bernard. Hill responded by finishing off the season with 1,124 yards on the ground as well as a lead leading 441 yards over the four game span in December. Starting quarterback Andy Dalton also looks to get over a personal hump this weekend. Dalton has taken the Bengals to the playoffs each of his first three years in the league while also losing in the wildcard round each year.

The Colts come in to the game having won 5 of their final 6 games with their only loss coming at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys in an away game in blowout fashion by the score of 7 to 42. The Colts starting quarterback Andrew Luck is in his third season but has already done what Dalton has not, win a playoff game. Indy defeated the Chiefs at home in last seasons wildcard round before bowing out at the hands of New England. Luck is coming off a career year having put up 4,761 yards through the air while also throwing for a league leading 40 touchdowns.
