The Falcons enter tonight's game hoping to see some improvement by their defense. In the NFL's first two weeks Atlanta's defense has given up exactly 742 yards each game resulting in the Falcons being ranked dead last for yards surrendered. Adding to their problem has been their lack of a decent pass rush. The Falcons are the only team in the NFL to have not tallied a quarterback sack up to this point. Despite their struggles on defense they did manage to defeat their division rival as well as divisional favorite, the New Orleans Saints in week one only to see them drop game two to possibly the hottest team in the NFL right now, the Cincinnati Bengals. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan will  be looking to duplicate his performance from week one that saw him throw for 445 yards and no interception only to then have that number cut down by more then half last week for 212 yards and three interceptions.

Tampa may be just the thing to make Atlanta forget about their week two disappointment. The Buccaneers enter this game as one of seven teams to have yet won a game in 2014. For Bucs fans this tune is probably getting old having dropped the first eight games of 2013. Making things worse for the Buccaneers is that  they have been banged up at some key spots on their defense. The Bucs are likely to be without their Pro Bowl defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and their starting middle linebacker Mason Foster tonight. First year Tampa starter Josh McCown has averaged just shy of 169 yards a game to go along with his three interceptions. The end result is that the Buccaneers sit as the second worst passing team coming in to this evenings game. On the defensive side of the ball the team has only forced one turn over to this point. They will have their hands full against Ryan who will be looking to bounce back against a division foe this  week.
