The Miami Dolphins are batling through injuries early this year, though the good news is, most of the injuries seem to be fairly minor thus far. As the team opened practice Tuesday morning, tight end Charles Clay (knee), kicker Caleb Sturgis (groin), and quarterback Pat Devlin (hamstring) were all expected to miss the morning's workout after yesterday the team released an injury report with all three players expected to miss "multiple practices."
Those are on top of center Mike Pouncey and running back Knowshon Moreno, who are on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list.
During Monday's practice, several more Dolphins were forced to miss some part of the workout, including tight end Michael Egnew (concussion), running back Daniel Thomas (hamstring), defensive end Olivier Vernon (back), and tight end Harold Hoskins (hamstring). All four players were added to the list of players expected to miss multiple practices on Tuesday.
On the opposite side of the injury story, backup quarterback Matt Moore, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury, and wide receiver Brian Hartline, who sat out the last two practices with an unknown ailment, both returned to practice in the early portion of this morning's session.
