Dolphins roster cuts: Miami gets down to 53-man limit

The Miami Dolphins have completed their 53-man roster.

The Miami Dolphins have completed their roster reduction from the 75-man limit down to the NFL's 53-man regular season roster size.  The team completed the moves ahead of Saturday's 4pm ET deadline.

The moves completed by the Dolphins were:

Reserve/Suspended list:

Reshad Jones, safety (4 games)
Dion Jordan, defensive end (4 games)

Released:

Isaako Aaitui, defensive tackle
David Arkin, offensive line
Sam Brenner, center
Kevin Cone, wide receiver
Evan Finkenberg, offensive line
Kevin Fogg, cornerback
Matt Hazel, wide receiver
Tony Hills, offensive line
Jordan Kovacs, safety
Seth Lobato, quarterback
Kyle Miller, tight end
Tevin Mims, defensive end
D'Aundre Reed, defensive end
Jake Rogers, kicker
Garrison Smith, defensive tackle
Marcus Thigpen, wide receiver
Daniel Thomas, running back
Andrew Wilson, linebacker

Evan Wilson, tight end

Injured Reserve:

Kamal Johnson, defensive tackle

With the moves, the team is now staged to begin their regular season campaign.  Miami hosts the New England Patriots in Week 1, with kickoff a week from Sunday.
