The 2014 World Cup is in the middle of the quarterfinals round, with host country, and tournament favorite, Brazil still alive. With the United States having lost in the round of 16, Americans are looking for other teams for which to root as the tournament moves toward the July 13 championship.
But, Miami Dolphins fans, that new team to follow can not be Brazil. You can never root for Brazil. You must want to see Brazil lose. Here's why:

What does Tom Brady have to do with the Brazilian team in the World Cup?

Brady's wife Gisele Bündchen is, of course, a supermodel. Oh, let me qualify that a little more. Bündchen is a BRAZILIAN supermodel.
Which means, should Brazil lose, Bündchen and Brady would likely be upset. And, there's nothing like sad Tom Brady.

Of course, it looks like Brazil will be moving on to the semifinals with a 2-0 lead in the second half of their quarterfinal match against Colombia. But, maybe after that game, Brady will be sitting on his living room floor as sad Tom Brady. We can always hope.
