The NBA Finals open tonight with Game 1, as the Miami Heat look to claim their third straight championship in a repeat of last year's Finals against the San Antonio Spurs. This series will mark the fourth straight trip to the championship series for the Heat since putting together the LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh "Big Three."
Which brings up the question, who are the Miami Dolphins' Big Three?
Is the answer on offense, where you could select quarterback Ryan Tannehill, wide receiver Mike Wallace, and running back Knowshon Moreno? Perhaps you want to switch out Wallace for Brian Hartline or Moreno for Lamar Miller. Maybe a running back should not be on the list, with tight end Charles Clay filling the third position.
Or, is the answer on defense? Defensive end Cameron Wake, cornerback Brent Grimes, and safety Reshad Jones could be the answer. Randy Starks could find a way on to the list, with Olivier Vernon's 2013 performance making as case for inclusion as well.
All of this ignores one of the top players on the Dolphins' roster as well - punter Brandon Fields. A position battle changer every time he kicks the ball, Fields should definitely be in this discussion.
The best answer may be a combination of Tannehill as the quarterback, Wake as the best player on defense, and Fields covering special teams. But, the final answer is up to you. Give us your Dolphins Big Three in the comments below.
