Immediate Reaction to the Miami Dolphins 63rd Overall Selection

New, comments

By taking an offensive tackle in the first round of the NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins filled a huge need on the team. Where have the Dolphins turned to next? Lets take a quick look.

The Dolphins have been busy tonight, trading back 13 spots to the 63rd overall selection in order to take wide receiver Jarvis Landry from LSU.

Wide receiver wasn't the biggest need of the day for Miami, the draft is absolutely stacked at the position. While Landry doesn't wow with his physicality or speed, the young receiver is very good at catching the football and is difficult to bring down after the catch.  Add in his polished route running skills, and it looks like we have a classic west coast offence wide receiver on our hands.  Landry will offer something different to the position from what the Dolphins currently have on their roster, and is a smart selection.

Stay tuned with The Phinsider to hear the next Dolphins selections tonight.

How do you feel about the Miami Dolphins selecting LSU wide receiver Jarvis Landry?  Does it spell the beginning of the end for some of our current receivers on the roster?  Lets hear your views!
