The Westin Diplomat Striking Out Kids Cancer Miami-Fort Lauderdale Bowling Classic is coming to South Florida and the only thing bigger than it's name will likely be the fun shared by all!

Striking Out Kids Cancer is benefiting Miami Children's Health Foundation and proceeds from donations will go towards children and their families in need. The event takes place on Monday, June 23rd, 2014 at Sparez Bowling Alley in Davie, Florida from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Bowlers of all sizes and skill levels are encouraged to play along, and Miami Dolphins players, Lamar Miller, Olivier Vernon, Jimmy Wilson and Louis Delmas will also be suiting up in their cleats snazzy bowling shoes to participate and to show off their skills.

To get additional information or to sign up, check out the website, Striking Out Kids Cancer, where you can register to bowl for as little as $35 per person ($30 special before Friday May 23rd!). You can also reserve your own lane (up to 6 people) for only $175, or purchase VIP lanes where you will bowl with a Dolphin player on your lane for three frames! Any way you look at it, the value is terrific; all entries include 3 games of bowling, shoe rental, T-shirt, a goody bag, and even pizza and soda will be served at your lane! You will also get a chance to bid on some great items during a silent auction!

Check out the website with all the fantastic options here, and if you are not able to attend, donations will be graciously accepted and go to a great cause to give back to kids of need! You can also contact Joe Allen of Strikes for Kids at for additional information! A special thanks to Joe for being a part of such a great cause and to reaching out to The Phinsider, the best dolphins blog in the world, to be a part of such a great event!

If anybody is local in the greater Fort Lauderdale/Miami and interested in checking out this terrific cause, feel free to sound off below! I am buying a few tickets as we speak and I personally would love to see a Phinsider presence be seen in the crowd!
