Miami Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey is a busy man today. He's already signed offensive tackle Jason Fox. Reports have indicated the team will meet with free agent wide receiver Lestar Jean today, and now comes a report that the team will sign free agent wide out Kevin Cone as well.

Cone signed as an undrafted free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 2011, spending most of his first year on the practice squad. In 2012, Cone made the 53-man roster, and was an active member of the team most of the year, but played mostly special teams. The same happened in 2013, where, despite injuries throughout the Atlanta wide receiving corps, Cone could not get on the field with the offense.

He has one career catch for 12 yards.

The impending signing was indicated by Con'e agent and was first reported by the Atlanta Journal Consititution's D. Orlando Ledbetter.

Cone, who spent his college career at Georgia Tech, ran a 4.37 second 40-yard dash during the school's Pro Day.
