Mark Sanchez release makes Jared Odrick sad

Over the weekend, the New York Jets released quarterback Mark Sanchez and signed Michael Vick. Sanchez leaving the Jets makes Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Jared Odrick sad.

As we all know, the New York Jets released quarterback Mark Sanchez over the weekend.  It ends a chapter in Jets history that was simply a roller coaster of highs and lows.  It also ends a chapter in Miami Dolphins fans history, because, let's face it, we love taking shots at Mark Sanchez.

Sanchez was always a great target when it came to Jets week.

And, we aren't the only ones.  After word broke that Sanchez was no longer a member of the Dolphins' AFC East rivals, Miami defensive tackle Jared Odrick apparently took the news hard.  He felt like something would be missing the next time the two teams play - and it's something that Odrick did not want to see gone.

To express his loss, Odrick posted this introspective and heartfelt picture to Instagram, with the caption, "I'll miss us..."

Perfectly said by Odrick. Perfectly said.

Let's go Dolphins!
