Shelley Smith signs with Dolphins - The Phinsider
The Miami Dolphins have added free agent guard Shelley Smith, according to a report. Miami is working to overhaul their offensive line this offseason.

Pre-Free Agency Needs:

Left Tackle - Addition of Branden Albert solves this need.
Guard - Shelley Smith fills this need, though adding two more guards would not be surprising, and could still be considered a need.
Guard
Right Tackle
Defensive Tackle - Re-signing Randy Starks was a big portion of removing this need. Earl Mitchell should replace Paul Soliai in the rotation at defensive tackle, but does have big shoes to fill.
Safety - Signing Louis Delmas to replace Chris Clemons removed this needs.
Running Back
Linebacker
Cornerback - The Dolphins released Dimitri Patterson and allowed Nolan Carroll to leave in free agency, so signing a corner jumped onto the list. They did that with Corland Finnegan, though adding another in FA or the Draft would not be a surprise.

Current Needs:

Guard
Right Tackle
Running Back
Linebacker
