Dolphins Twitter reactions to Michael Sam announcing he is gay

Last night, news broke that SEC Defensive Player of the Year Michael Sam had announced that he is gay. If he is selected in May's NFL Draft, he would be the first openly gay player in league history. How did some of the Miami Dolphins players react? We take a look.

It appears the NFL may have its first openly gay player in 2014, if Missouri defensive end Michael Sam, the SEC co-Defensive Player of the Year, is selected in May's NFL Draft. Sam made his announcement last night, with many NFL players taking to Twitter to react to the story.

How did some of the Miami Dolphins players' react? We take a look.

There was one strange moment, with Dolphins running back Mike Gillislee tweeting "WTF is this world coming to?" shortly after the Sam news broke. However, he deleted the tweet shortly thereafter and posted the following tweet, with him possibly winning the worst timing for an unrelated tweet ever:
