The Denver Broncos will head east this week to southern Ohio to take on the Cincinnati Bengals. Denver at 11 and 3 has already been locked in to an AFC playoff spot. They have also previous to this week clinched the AFC West title for this season. A win over the Bengals this evening would give them a first week bye in the playoffs along with the New England Patriots who currently sit at 12 and 3. Denver can also still claim home field advantage throughout the playoffs with a win over Cincinnati, a win next week at home over the Oakland Raiders and a week 17 loss by the Patriots to the Buffalo Bills at home. The Broncos of course lost the tiebreaker to the Patriots when they lost on the road to New England in week 9 by a resounding score of 43 to 21. The Denver Broncos enter this evenings prime time game having won all 4 of their previous night games this season.

The Bengals, despite having the advantage of being tonight's home team, have what seems to quite the daunting task against the Broncos this evening. To begin with the Bengals have never beaten a Peyton Manning led team. Additionally they have not been able to win in prime time this season and the odds makers have the Broncos, as the away team, favored. Despite Denver appearing to have the upper hand on paper the Bengals come in to the evening with more to play for overall. With a win this evening Cinci can clinch a playoff birth, their fourth in a row. They can also still win the AFC North with a win this week and a win next week over the current division leading Steelers. Giving the Bengals some confidence coming in to this game is the fact that they had their most dominant game of 2014 when they crushed the Cleveland Browns 30 to 0 last Sunday.
