Ahead of the Monday Night AFC East showdown with the New York Jets, the Miami Dolphins have updated their injury report. Unfortunately, it is not in a good direction as the team has downgraded offensive lineman Nate Garner from doubtful to out. Garner has been fighting an illness all week.

The Dolphins had previously ruled out linebacker Jonathan Freeny with a hamstring injury and cornerback Jamar Taylor with a shoulder problem. The Jets have also ruled out tight end Jace Amaro (concussion) and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (toe).

You can find the full Dolphins-Jets injury report here.

Garner, in his seventh season with the team, serves as the primary reserve offensive lineman, able to fill in at any position when needed during a game. He has appeared in 10 of Miami's 11 games this season, but was inactive last week against the Denver Broncos.

The Dolphins and Jets kickoff at 8:30pm ET tonight.
