Tonight's contest pits two AFC North rivals against one another. One, the Cincinnati Bengals, is hoping to hold on to first place in the crowded at the top division with a win and the other, the Cleveland Browns, hoping to knock the Bengals down to second place and take a share of first place, with the Pittsburgh Steelers, for themselves.

A win this evening would make it three in a row for Cleveland who now sits at 5 and 3. Cleveland also hopes to break their streak of bad luck against AFC North division rivals when they are the road team not having won such a game since September of 2008. A loss this evening would bring their losing streak in Cincinnati to six. Despite the poor recent history, the 2014 version of the browns have already won more games (5) than the 2013 version of the team (4) after playing only half of their  current year schedule.

The Bengals enter the night with a 5, 2 and 1 record and will continue to hold a thin lead over the Steelers for first place in the division with a win this evening by way of both teams having the same number of wins but Cincinnati having one less loss by way of the tie. Some of Cincinnati hopes over the next few weeks may be on the shoulders of rooking running back Jeremy Hill who has been filling in for the injured Giovani Bernard. Hill had a more than respectable game against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week rushing for 154 and scoring two touchdowns.
