Just as in the mid day game the evening Thanksgiving day game pits 2 division rivals against one another with the same record that will face each other twice in 18 days. The difference is that both teams, the Seahawks and the 49ers are sitting at 7 & 4 and are two games behind the division leading Arizona Cardinals. The two teams are more accustomed to fighting it out for the division title but are now more focused on just keeping pace with the Cardinals and the rest of the top teams in the NFC.
The Seattle Seahawks will take their first ever trip to the new home of the San Franciso 49ers this season, Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Coming in to this week the Seahawks are ranked 11th overall in offense with 25.4 points scored per game while the 49ers are ranked 22nd overall, scoring an average of 20.7 points per game. On defense San Francisco is ranked 11th overall, giving up 20.5 points per game while Seattle is ranked 7th overall, giving up 19.8 points per game.
