This evenings game features two teams that make up one of the very best rivalries in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a game that saw their starting QB go off, helping the Steelers crush a very good Indianapolis Colts team. Ben Roethlisberger went 40 of 49 on his way to 522 yards passing, six touchdown passes and a resounding 51-34 victory. Despite the Steelers coming of the best offensive day of any team this season the now face a Baltimore team that has made a habit of slowing Pittsburgh down including in their last game during week two where they were kept out of the endzone for the entire game leading to a 26 to 6 loss. Expect Big Ben to lean heavily on running back Le'Veon Bell in this game. Bell leads the AFC in yards from scrimmage this season at 1,086 yards.
The Ravens only hope to keep their current win streak over the Pittsburgh Steelers alive by sweeping the season with a win. A win this evening would make it six wins in the last eight meetings for Baltimore. The Ravens have also over that span have been much more stingy with the ball, turning it over only three times to the Steelers nineteen turnovers in those same seven games. Unlike Pittsburgh who destroyed their last opponent, the Ravens are looking to get back in the win column this week after dropping last weeks contest to the Bengals in the final minute's of the game. Both teams are also sitting at five and three meaning that the winner this evening will either move in to first place or second behind the Bengals and the loser could possibly fall to last place in the division.
