The NFL kicks off their Sunday slate of games with a special morning game this week. The Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions are in London to play the second of the three International Series games the NFL will host this year in the United Kingdom's Wembley Stadium. While most of the time, the London games still start a 1pm ET in the United States, this game is a little different.
This game will be played at 1:30pm in London, or 9:30am ET here in the US. It will be televised nationally on Fox.
That means, today's schedule of games will have a 9:30am ET contest, eight games at 1pm ET, three games in the 4:05/4:25pm ET slot, and then the Sunday Night Football game at 8:30pm ET tonight. That means we will have a full day of NFL football today.
As we do every week, we will have a live game thread for the Miami Dolphins game. But, before we get there, we now get to have a live game thread for the early, early game. Enjoy the Lions versus Falcons.
