The Miami Dolphins are expected to add more candidates for their General Manager position over the next few days, interviewing more people and looking to find the best person available. So far, the team has interviewed seven executives from several other teams in their search to replace Jeff Ireland.

A report today from Fox Sports' Jay Glazer states the Dolphins' pool of seven candidates shrunk by one when Arizona Cardinals Vice President of Player Personnel Jason Licht agreed to become the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' General Manager.

Licht interviewed with the Dolphins on January 10. He has spent the last two years with the Cardinals after a four year period working with the New England Patriots. He has had two stints with both the Patriots and Cardinals, as well as periods of employment in various roles with the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, and the Dolphins.

Along with Licht, the Dolphins have interviewed their own Assistant General Manager Brian Gaine, Pittsburgh Steelers Director of Football Administration Omar Khan, Tennessee Titans Vice President of Player Personnel Lake Dawson, Cleveland Browns Director of Football Administration Ray Farmer, Detroit Lions Senior Personnel Executive Brian Xanders, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Director of Player Personnel Dennis Hickey.
