Dolphins GM search: Daily update adds Lake Dawson to Miami GM interviews

New, comments

The Miami Dolphins have added to their list of completed interviews in their hunt for a new General Manager. Yesterday, the team announced they had met with the Tennessee Titans' Lake Dawson.

The Miami Dolphins continued their daily update of the interview process in their search for a new General Manager. The team is looking for a replacement for Jeff Ireland, who last week agreed to leave the position he held for six years, joining the Dolphins in 2008 along with Bill Parcells and Tony Sparano.

With yesterday's announcement, the team added Tennessee Titans Vice President of Player Personnel Lake Dawson to the list. Dawson was hired by the Titans in 2006 as their Director of Pro Scouting before being promoted to his current position in 2012. Prior to that he had worked as a scout in the Seattle Seahawks organization, following a four year NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs as a wide receiver.

Dawson joins a list that also includes Dolphins Assistant General Manager Brian Gaine, Pittsburgh Steelers Director of Football and Business Administration Omar Kahn, Arizona Cardinals Vice President of Player Personnel Jason Licht, and Cleveland Browns Assistant General Manager Ray Farmer.
