Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is just starting to stake his place among the NFL's quarterbacks. He's learning to be a professional signal caller, and he's learning how to use all the new offensive weapons the team has put around him this year. This past Sunday, he used all of them to drive the team down the field and score the game winning touchdown with just 38 seconds remaining in the game.
Tannehill's performance on that drive has earned him the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week for Week 3, it was announced today.
Tannehill was 9-for-12 for 69 yards and the touchdown on the drive, moving the team 75 yards in 4:08. The Dolphins never led in the game until Dion Sims pulled in the one yard touchdown pass from Tannehill. It was the first career, last minute comeback victory for the second year quarterback.
Tannehill finished the day 24-for-35 for 236 yards, with two touchdowns and an interception. He had a 94.5 passer rating on the day.
The GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week award is a determined through fan voting on NFL.com.
