This preseason, plenty of young talent flashed for the Miami Dolphins, although most disappeared as the preseason went along. Those players were then released, but the top of those would likely be targets for the team's eight man practice squad. One player who a lot of people expected to be among those target was defensive end Tristan Okpalaugo. However, that does not appear to be the case:
DE Tristan Okpalaugo, who made 3 sacks, 1 FF & 1 FR for Dolphins this preseason, was not signed to practice squad. He has tryout elsewhere.

Okpalaugo was a favorite among fans this preseason. He seemed to always be in on plays when he was on the field, but he was playing at one of the deepest positions for Miami, and it was not likely he would make the 53-man roster. However, it is a bit of a surprise that he will not be back on the practice squad. Interesting to see where he ends up.
